“I have a new passion for sharing the gospel and a reignited passion for God’s Word. I feel so encouraged going into the new year and ready to step out onto campus being a light for Christ,” shared by a student who recently attended one of Cru’s Winter Conferences in Dallas, Baltimore, Minneapolis, and Indianapolis.

The 2,536 Winter Conference attendees worshiped together, prayed together, and had fun together. They heard from speakers who called them to live their lives more aligned with God’s word. They attended seminars on how to be filled with the Holy Spirit along with a variety of other topics to help them grow in their faith and discover their place in the mission of God.

A highlight of Cru’s Winter Conferences has always been the day of outreach, and this year was no different. Students were trained on how to initiate spiritual conversations and share the gospel. They went out into the surrounding communities with Boxes of Love, a care package sponsored by Cru Inner City. The students were able to share the gospel while ministering to physical needs in the communities. During the outreaches, 41 people trusted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior!

Please pray that these 41 people will connect with local churches, and grow in their faith and walk with God. Pray that the Winter Conference students will continue to grow in their relationship with God and be passionate to share the gospel with family, friends, and others on campus. Pray also that these students will consider going on one of Cru’s Summer Missions, interning with Cru, or becoming a full-time missionary with Cru.​

Robin and I are happy to introduce you to our newest grandchild, Wesley James Ronk, born to Robby and Annie on October 23. They live about 10 minutes from us and we love being able to spend time with them, Wesley, and Wesley’s big brother, Rowan, who’s 2 years old. The photo below includes Rowan (in the middle) with our other two grandkids, Evelyn (5 years old) and Finn (3 years old).

We are blessed to have you come alongside us in our ministry so that everyone around the world will have the opportunity to hear the good news of Jesus Christ.
