Robin and I are celebrating our 22nd anniversary as missionaries with Cru this month. We give thanks to God that He has called us to serve Him as full-time missionaries and help spread the gospel around the world. We have committed to go where God wants us to go and do what God wants us to do. We also give thanks to God for you and your partnership with us in ministry.

Robin and I have been asked to join two vital teams at Cru’s World Headquarters in Orlando. Since "all scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16), I am joining Cru’s eLearning Team to assist in training our staff and volunteers so that everyone is trained and equipped to effectively share the gospel and disciple others.

Since the "harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few" (Matthew 9:37), Robin is joining Cru’s Sending & Recruiting Team. She will be helping find and send part-time and full-time missionaries who will serve God around the world with Cru. She will be helping send hundreds of people each year into God's harvest field.

Please pray for Robin and me as we process these changes and transition out of NYC into our new roles with Cru. We praise God for our season in NYC and are excited about our new assignments with Cru. We will move to Orlando after our summer assignment in Colorado.

As we mentioned last month, Robin and I will be in Ft Collins, Colorado in June and July, helping lead our biennial Cru summer conference and ministry trainings. The conference will run from July 16-23, but beginning in early June, almost 1,000 of our Cru staff and college students will receive training in:

  • Cross-cultural ministry for our missionaries who will serve internationally.
  • Equipping new team leaders for college campuses across the U.S.
  • Seminary classes as part of their ongoing theological development as missionaries and to give them the necessary tools for the field.
  • Becoming missionaries and commissioning our new missionaries with Cru.

Robin is the Director of Information Services, leading a team who help our Cru staff and guests in disseminating information for all the many events this summer. I am serving as the registrar for Cru’s Institute of Biblical Studies seminary helping ensure all the instructors and staff taking classes have an effective learning experience.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. (Romans 15:13) Thank you for your prayers for us!

Yours in Christ,

Steve & Robin
