Rachid, like many in his region, lived in fear of the Dajjal, the “Great Deceiver,” a figure central to his culture’s end-time beliefs. One day, Rachid saw an ad on WhatsApp from Cru’s Jesus Film Ministry offering a way to be saved from this figure. 

He clicked the ad, which answered all his questions. For several days afterward, Rachid texted back and forth with a trained online evangelist. Through these online conversations, Rachid discovered the truth of salvation through the true Messiah. With joy, he placed his faith in Jesus, connected with a local Christian who discipled him, and was baptized.

Today, Rachid’s life stands as a testament to God’s power. He is no longer afraid. Instead, he uses his Facebook page to invite others to find faith, victory over fear, deliverance from evil, and true healing—all through Jesus Christ.

Rachid now oversees ten discovery groups on Facebook that engage viewers and invite them to watch the “JESUS” film in their heart language. His commitment has already led to four generations of believers through these groups.
